honda shadow spirit 750 By ( I am an Owner ) on Mar 02, 2013 Honda Shadow spirit 750 I think is a very good bike for smaller people, other than that its a very nice looking bike with lots of power, the only thing in the Honda is the "lunch box" they call the tail light, get rid of that and your good to go.
The 750 (comparatively) has no power. It was the pits at almost any speed and quickly ran out of guts at highway speed. It is very cheaply made and feels like a very small bike. While the 900 looks and feels like a more substantial bike, it is remarkably easy to ride and far more capable in every aspect.

Old tech isnt a 750 issue unless you divide the 1300's by 2 and add 100. That is a Honda issue, IF, you dont like carbs and adjusting valves. The bike is what it is. The 750's dont have "issues", people have different riding styles. and some have to play measure the wee wee game   Skeeter. Just sold my wife’s 750 Shadow to purchase a Kawa 900 Classic LT and the difference between the two is like night versus day. The 900 is far superior to the Shadow with smoother performance, ride and overall appearance IMO. The Shadow just seems like a much smaller bike and I always feel like my knees are going to drag the ground The Honda sports a somewhat modern, liquid-cooled, three-valve, dual-plug, V-twin motor. While the H-D’s engine is the familiar air-cooled unit. However, in our top-o-the line, R spec 883 Sportster, it gets a much cooler black powder coating job versus the somewhat gaudy chrome laden air-pump on the Spirit. The Honda has a great paint job. jbzIW.
